Meshed Group takes great pride in our ongoing commitment to engaging with and giving back to the communities which we operate in. As part of our Meshed Group Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, we give back to the community by supporting charitable causes, events, fundraisers and other promotional activities.
Under our CSR initiative program, we support the below causes:
- Homelessness
- Helping those in need
- Caring for sick children
These causes allow us to tailor our CSR efforts much more effectively into the future, and continue to help us develop the program.

Golden moments
Helping sick kids achieve their dreams
As a part of our CSR initiative this year, Meshed Group employees and their family members had an exciting “family fun day” on 26th May, 2018. The team at Meshed got together to be a part of the Sydney Children’s Hospital Gold Appeal campaign to raise much needed funds for sick kids. The Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation is a charitable organisation that exists to fund ground-breaking research and everyday clinical care at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. Their vision is to ensure that every child now and in the future, can access world-class medical care whenever they need it.
As a part of the campaign, we arranged the family fun day with activities like face painting, henna, magic show, dancing and treasure hunt for the kids. Being a part of the Gold Appeal is a chance to make each day better than the last for sick kids. It’s a way of creating moments that matter in their lives. And we felt fortunate to be a part of this and contributing to this beautiful cause. We raised much needed funds, and with the company matching the amount raised, it brought our grand total to $1,360.
Meshed Group is committed to supporting the community – It’s fantastic to see all our staff get on board and support such a fantastic cause.
All donations from the appeal go directly towards funding equipment and research through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Foundation.
Vinnies CEO Sleep out
Our CEO, Pramesh Khadka took part in the Vinnies CEO Sleepout to raise funds for people experiencing homelessness. He experienced sleeping under a cardboard box this winter on one of the coldest nights of the year to help raise money for people experiencing homelessness. Thanks to everyone who reached out and supported.
He says “it was indeed a humble and moving experience speaking with real people who have experienced homelessness in life and to learn about some of the causes that leads to homelessness. Further experiencing the sleepout on concrete under a cardboard box definitely gives perspective on how difficult it is for people who are in such situations. I am glad I did it and sincere thanks to all my supporters”.
There were 330 CEOs and Community members who got together on 21st June 2018 at White Bay Cruise Terminal to experience the sleepout. So far Sydney has raised more than 1.8 million and the total amount raised this year has passed 6.7 million.
The Vinnies CEO Sleepout is a one-night event over one of the longest and coldest nights of the year. Hundreds of CEOs, business owners as well as community and government leaders sleep outdoors to support the many Australians who are experiencing homelessness. Each CEO Sleepout participant commits to raising thousands of dollars to help Vinnies provide essential services to the people who need them.
